Job Description
Community Action Department Full-Time (37.5 Hours per Week) Two Rivers Regional Council of Public Officials (TRRC) is accepting applications for a full-time (37.5 hours per week) Intake Specialist based in our Pittsfield office, serving Pike County, Illinois. TRRC is a nonprofit organization serving Adams, Brown, Pike, and Schuyler Counties as the designated Community Action Agency. Our mission is to grow stronger and more positive communities through relationships . As a connected community of individuals, families, businesses, and government, we focus on supporting the basic needs of our community, fostering resiliency, and developing economic opportunity for all. As an Intake Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for many clients seeking assistance through programs such as the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) , Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) , and other Community Action programs. This position plays a vital role in helping individuals and families access resources that address immediate needs and support long-term stability. You will guide clients through the application process, determine program eligibility, maintain accurate client records, and provide exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with program requirements.
