Waitlist Specialist CSI Support & Development - 3.2 Warren, MI Job Details Full-time $20 - $22 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Microsoft Excel Productivity software Quality data entry Full Job Description The Waitlist Specialist will assist candidates with locating appropriate housing and will process applications for municipal housing. Waitlist specialists conduct an eligibility assessment for each potential member and then identify any available housing. They familiarize clients with their rights and responsibilities as members of our co-ops and provide all necessary and beneficial applicable information. Essential functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Interviews applicants and determines eligibility for housing programs. Sends required paperwork and explains the application process; verifies the accuracy of the information submitted. Maintains records, collecting and completing all required documentation. Explains housing authority regulations to applicants; facilitates and ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices. Answer phone for Michigan region waitlist using CSI's formatted script to ensure fair housing practices. Meets with walk-ins who are seeking housing Attends CSI co-op meetings Creates, updates, and stores CSI's co-ops pre-applications and online paperwork as needed as a backup to Waitlist Supervisor Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical demands This position requires sitting at a desk for extended periods of time and significant amount of time on the phone. Must be able to push/pull/lift up to 30 pounds. Travel required N/A Required education and experience High School Diploma, equivalent experience or a combination of both Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work with the public under different levels of pressure Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Adobe Excellent data entry skills Exceptional business communications (emails, letters and in-person) Excellent problem-solving skills Work authorization/security clearance requirements Department of Homeland Security (DHS) regulation requires all employees—citizens, residents, and nonresidents—to complete Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification.
