Job Description
CHCCMO is committed to providing quality care, which includes helping patients navigate coverage options available to them. To assist in our mission, we are looking to add a motivated and detail-oriented Enrollment Specialist to our team. Primary responsibilities of the Enrollment Specialist include: Engage with patients to understand their insurance needs and educate on available coverage options with Missouri Medicaid or the Health Insurance Marketplace. Guide patients through the enrollment process from start to finish in a fair, accurate, and impartial manner. Assist uninsured patients in enrollment in our Sliding Fee Discount Program or Show Me Healthy Women. Provide ongoing support to ensure patients maintain active coverage. The Enrollment Specialist should possess strong customer service and communication skills in both verbal and written form with the ability to explain information to patients in a clear and understandable manner. A high school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Marketing or Social Work preferred. Experience with Medicaid or insurance enrollment highly desirable.
