Job Description
We are looking for an Admissions representative to support a healthcare-focused university in Saint Louis, Missouri. This is an on-site Contract position suited for a detail-oriented individual who can balance candidate outreach, application review, and accurate records management in a fast-paced admissions environment. The ideal candidate will communicate clearly with prospective students, guide them through admissions steps, and contribute to enrollment-related events and reporting. This opportunity is well suited to someone with strong customer service instincts, sales confidence, and the flexibility to support occasional evening or weekend activities.
Responsibilities:
- Assess incoming applications, confirm eligibility criteria, and identify prospective students who are ready to move forward in the admissions review process.
- Enter applicant records, supporting documents, and related details into institutional systems to maintain accurate tracking and reporting.
- Examine prerequisite completion and file status across multiple platforms to ensure each applicant record is complete and ready for evaluation.
- Communicate with candidates by phone and other approved channels to explain admissions procedures, policy guidelines, next steps, and acceptance-related information.
- Conduct a high volume of outbound outreach each day to engage prospective students, answer questions, and encourage timely follow-up.
- Represent the institution at recruitment events such as fairs, campus visits, open houses, webinars, conventions, and orientation activities.
- Compile and organize enrollment and matriculation data for monthly and quarterly reports prepared for academic and enrollment leadership.
- Support university-sponsored events in both virtual and in-person settings as business needs require.
- Maintain availability for occasional evening and weekend work to assist with admissions programming and recruitment efforts.
- Perform additional admissions and student outreach duties as assigned.
