Coding Quality Specialist

Job Summary Our client is seeking a skilled Coding Specialist to perform coding validation reviews for Patient Safety, POA, Compliance, Clinical Documentation Improvement, Quality, and Performance Improvement. The role also involves assisting with internal/external coding audits and providing education/feedback. Key Responsibilities Perform coding validation reviews for various healthcare improvement and compliance areas. Assist with internal and external coding audits. Provide education and feedback as necessary. Qualifications Inpatient Coding Experience CCS or CPC certification Experience with EPIC Software Skills Inpatient Coding Technical proficiency with EPIC Software Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
