Job Description

Overview We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Intake Specialist to join our SCS Pooled Trust Intake team. This in-office role focuses on conducting outreach to clients referred by health plans who have surplus income and may benefit from enrolling in a pooled trust. The primary goal is to educate, engage, and enroll eligible clients by guiding them through the intake process. This is a client-facing position requiring a strong phone presence, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to closing cases. As this initiative expands, the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role within the intake team. Responsibilities Make soft/cold calls to clients referred by health plans who are eligible for surplus income solutions. Explain the benefits of enrolling in a pooled income trust and guide clients through the process. Schedule follow-up appointments and intake consultations. Accurately document interactions and progress in the intake system. Collaborate with both the SCS and SPSCS teams to ensure seamless case management and communication. Meet or exceed outreach and enrollment targets. Participate in team meetings, share feedback, and help improve outreach strategies. Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish is preffered Excellent phone communication skills—clear, warm, and persuasive. Comfortable with cold calling and objection handling. Strong work ethic, dependable, and self-motivated. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer proficiency and comfort with intake tracking systems. Prior experience in sales, outreach, intake, or customer service, ideally within healthcare, social services, or a related field preferred.
