Performance Responsibilities:
Excellent communication skills to greet patrons, exchange information, give/receive instructions and respond to inquiries. Ensure new enrollments, residency affidavits, and transfer requests are processed correctly in the district and state SIS. Performs data recording/record keeping operations determining what changes need to be made to existing records, including computerized records. Responsible for establishing and/or maintaining an existing filing system. Communicate with site staff regarding new enrollees, residency changes, guardian changes and contact information changes. Performs technical level duties under general supervision to interpret, analyze and enter data into student information systems. Must be detail-oriented and diligent in performing data entry and analysis. Ensures data entry and existing data complies with district policy and state law. Use database analysis and/or query tools to extract data as necessary. Communicate with other outside sources including other school districts to verify accurate student attendance and membership data. Continual communication with other departments within the district. Readily verify important documentation, residency, and identification of patrons. Ensure contact information and addresses for students is correct and up to date. Ensure important student safety information is correctly documented and communicated. Other responsibilities/duties as assigned by the supervisor.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
240 Days. Compensation based upon Board approved salary schedule.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to stand, walk, squat frequently. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently.
