About the Role We are seeking an Admissions Specialist, to be the first point of contact for individuals seeking support and treatment for substance use disorders. Your role is vital in evaluating patient needs, coordinating assessments, and facilitating smooth transitions into care. You'll work closely with clinical teams to ensure timely, compassionate, and professional service from first contact through admission. This is a high-impact position ideal for someone with a strong clinical foundation, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of others. What You'll Do (Please note this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and duties) Serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking treatment, providing accurate information and compassionate support. Conduct screenings and assessments to determine appropriate level of care using ASAM and DSM-5 criteria. Coordinate the admissions process, including documentation, scheduling, and warm handoffs to clinical staff. Accurately enter client data and manage follow-ups to ensure timely and complete admissions. Collaborate with clinical teams to review risk factors and support smooth transitions into care. Assist in crisis situations and support intake operations during evenings or weekends as needed. What We're Looking For High School Diploma CADC-R certification, minimum (must obtain CADC I within 12 months of hire)
Clinical Knowledge:
