Job Summary:
A Case Management/Behavioral Intake Specialist is responsible for guiding individuals through the application process, ensuring eligibility is determined, and that all required documentation is complete and accurate. This role often serves as the first point of contact for patients and clients seeking public aid benefits. The ideal candidate must have experience with Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) and Clinical Management for Behavioral Health Service (CMBHS).
Responsibilities:
Enter all new client information into the electronic health record (EHR) Verify Medicaid eligibility and managed care information Complete client registration and intake documentation Upload required documents and obtained signatures Ensure all Medicaid documentation is accurate and complete Schedule initial appointments and coordinate with clinical staff
Qualifications:
Experience with Texas Medicaid preferred Experience in behavioral health or healthcare registration preferred Strong computer and data-entry skills Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills High School Diploma or College Degree (preferred) Advanced understanding of public aid systems (e.g., Texas Public Aid) and related benefit/eligibility portals Join us in making a meaningful difference by providing compassionate case management that empowers patients on their path to recovery!
