Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented DMEPOS Specialist to join our DME team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the documentation, billing, and compliance processes related to Durable Medical Equipment, face CMS and accreditation companies site inspections, Surveys. Your expertise will ensure accurate processing of policies, Performance Improvements(PI) reports, adherence to policy standards, and seamless communication with insurance providers and patients. Responsibilities Adhere to and implement all of the MEDCOMINDS's DME policies and procedures and compliance with all accreditation standards someone who has worked with DME inspections and compliance documents Participated in DME accreditation Meet monthly with owners—report on all successes/failures Meet weekly with department heads-track goals- report successes/failures Coordinate in-service training schedule annually to meet all licensure and accreditation requirements Maintain and update all manuals as needed Monitor branch's quality improvement activities and program Skills Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and submissions Knowledge of Medicare, and private insurance policies related to DMEPOS services Effective communication skills for liaising with insurance providers, vendors, and patients Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards governing medical equipment billing Proactive problem-solving skills to resolve claim issues promptly
