Job Type:
Full-Time Make a Difference for Families in Your Community The Family Empowerment Project (FEP) is looking for two compassionate and motivated Home Visitors to support pregnant women and families with infants. If you're passionate about maternal and child health and enjoy building meaningful relationships, this role offers the opportunity to create real impact—one family at a time. We are specifically seeking at least one bilingual candidate (Spanish, Arabic, or Dari). What You'll Do In this role, you'll meet families where they are—literally and figuratively—by providing education, support, and connection to resources. Provide in-home support to pregnant women and families with infants Teach topics like prenatal care, breastfeeding, parenting, and infant development Conduct screenings, assessments, and ongoing home visits Connect families to community resources and follow up on referrals Track progress to support healthy birth outcomes and child development Complete documentation within 72 hours Build strong community partnerships Manage a flexible schedule that includes fieldwork, office time, and some remote work (after training) What You Bring We're looking for someone who is compassionate, organized, and able to work independently in a community-based setting. Minimum Qualifications (one of the following): Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, or related field Associate's degree + 3 years of relevant experience 2+ years of college coursework + 3 years of related experience
Highly Preferred:
Bilingual in Spanish (prefered) , Arabic, or Dari)
Key Skills:
Strong communication and relationship-building Time management and organization Ability to manage multiple priorities independently Comfort using Google Workspace and data systems Requirements Level 2 background screening (required before hire) Valid Florida Driver's License, reliable transportation, and insurance Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Pay & Benefits $40,000 annual salary (after training period) $18.50-$19.00/hour during onboarding , with review at 90 days Benefits include: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid time off and holidays Life insurance Mileage reimbursement Employee Assistance Program Ongoing training and professional development Schedule & Work Environment Monday-Friday, 8-hour workday Occasional evenings or weekends based on family needs Work locations include client homes, office, and hybrid-remote opprotunities (after training) Staff report to the office when not in the field Why Join FEP?
