60 Per Hour Length of Work Year 12 Employment Type Full Time Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of the Director of Special Education, operate the telephone system and provide information to the public, GLCN employees, parents and students; perform a variety of routine clerical duties as assigned to by the Director of Special Education, the Special Education Coordinator, or designee. Check in with special education department leadership or designee to set up schedule of daily/weekly tasks needed for support offices which include, but are not limited to Accounting, Student Records, Categorical Program, High School Counselor, etc. Perform a variety of clerical tasks throughout the business office and/or resource Centers.
  • Meet and interact with staff and public tactfully and courteously.
  • Understand and follow oral and written instruction.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others, while maintaining appropriate and professional order.
  • Perform clerical tasks and input data at an acceptable rate of speed.
  • Work independently with constant interruptions and deadlines.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time wisely.
  • Adjust schedule to accommodate unexpected office needs. Proposed Schedule 260 Calendar Days, Alternative Work Week. Monday

Requirements / Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of general office experience.
  • Knowledge in data entry techniques. All of the following documents are required for this position:
