Introduction The Department of Health Services (DHS),Division of Medicaid Services (DMS) is recruiting to fill multiple full-time project Income Eligibility Quality Control Auditor positions at the Milwaukee Enrollment Services (MilES). MilES serves residents of Milwaukee County to determine eligibility for Medicaid, BadgerCare Plus, FoodShare, and other income maintenance assistance programs. The duration of the project positions is anticipated to last no later than March 2030. Project positions are eligible for benefits including health insurance; however, the incumbent will not obtain permanent civil service status. Individuals appointed to project positions must be Wisconsin residents. This recruitment may be used to fill future project positions. These positions will report to the office at 6055 N. 64 th Street, Milwaukee on a scheduled rotation. Currently the schedule is a 4-week rotation: 1 week in the office and 3 weeks working remotely. This schedule may vary based on operational needs. Position Summary As an Income Eligibility Quality Control Auditor, you will provide direct support to approximately 400 eligibility workers at MilES. You will also conduct Income Maintenance Quality Assurance reviews, case corrections and problem resolution for the over 200,000 Milwaukee County Income Maintenance cases. You will advise local staff, W-2 agency staff, and supervisors regarding IM program eligibility policy and systems initiatives. The goal of this support is to prevent incorrect eligibility decisions and benefit issuance, to ensure Wisconsin residents receive the benefits and services available to them in an equitable and timely manner, to contribute to the State and local agencies' error reduction efforts, and to prevent system misuse and fraudulent activities. These positions use eligibility determination systems, including the Client Assistance for Re-Employment and Economic Support (CARES) system and CARES Worker Web (CWW). Supporting clients and MilES through regular call center/phone work is also required. Salary Information Pay for this position is between $32.05 and $38.41 per hour (approximately between $66,600 and $79,800 per year) depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits. Pay for current or former state employees will be set based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction. These positions are classified as Human Services Program Coordinator-Senior and the pay schedule/range is 07/03. Job Details All applicants who may be appointed to this position will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled. Employees must have access to both a private workspace and secure high-speed internet for remote work option. Mileage reimbursement to the employee's headquarter location is not provided.
