Job Description

Work Schedule:
This is a part time, 0.5 FTE position. This is a hybrid position with monthly onsite requirements at 7974 UW Health Ct in Madison, WI. Qualified candidates should be able to work 4 hours per day Monday-Friday. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This will be discussed further in the interview. We are seeking a Reimbursement Specialist to: Process transplant claims, payments, adjustments, refunds, denials, and unpaid insurance balances. Follow up with third party payers and patients on outstanding account balances (including credit balances) to facilitate prompt resolution of outstanding account balances. Verify patient coverage information and update registration as required.
