Job Description

We are Rodeo! Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics is one of the fastest growing, multi-specialty dental groups in the country. The company's team of 100+ award-winning doctors provide a full range of general dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and board-certified pediatric dental services in 40+ Rodeo locations throughout the states of Texas, Colorado, and Arizona. The Insurance Verification Specialist is responsible for verifying dental insurance coverage and benefits for assigned offices. Every patient who has a scheduled appointment, we verify the patient's dental coverage and benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review doctor's schedule for daily appointments Verify if patient's dental benefits are due for insurance verification Provide a complete breakdown for the patients Verify coverage each month the patient has a scheduled appointment Work closely with the operations team at the dental offices to locate missing insurance information Work closely with the billing teams on dental plans that have limited coverage or changes Performs all other duties as assigned; and, Ability to communicate with team and doctors -this is KEY!
NOTE:
This is a mid-shift position, hours are 11 am - 8 pm CST. This role will support our CO and AZ markets.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma Previous Administrative or Office experience is a plus Must be detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with payers and operations team Scanning and filing records into electronic dental chart Identify discrepancies and information regarding patient's dental benefits and coverage
