El Paso, Texas About the Position JR Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Licensed Health Insurance Agent to join our growing team and assist with ACA/Marketplace health insurance enrollments, renewals, and client service. We are particularly interested in candidates who already have experience working with ACA/Marketplace clients and can bring practical knowledge and ideas from previous insurance experience. This is not primarily a cold-calling position. Our agency provides an established client base, inbound opportunities, systems, technology, and administrative support. Your primary responsibility will be helping clients complete enrollments, renewals, plan changes, and other health insurance transactions accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with established procedures. Responsibilities Assist clients with ACA/Marketplace applications and enrollments. Process annual ACA renewals and plan changes. Review client information before application submission. Explain premiums, deductibles, copays, networks, benefits, and plan options. Complete enrollments through approved Marketplace/EDE platforms. Obtain and properly document required consumer authorizations and consent. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions. Update client records and enrollment status in the agency CRM. Follow established agency workflows and compliance procedures. Follow up on applications requiring additional documentation or client action. Communicate professionally with clients by phone, text, email, and in person. Coordinate with administrative staff to move clients efficiently through the enrollment process. Identify and help resolve Marketplace enrollment issues. Escalate complex cases when necessary. Maintain client confidentiality and follow applicable CMS and agency compliance requirements. Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve enrollment workflows and client service. Required Qualifications Active Texas Life & Health Insurance License Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable working with computers and multiple online systems Detail-oriented and organized Ability to handle a high volume of clients during Open Enrollment Ability to follow established workflows and compliance procedures Professional and dependable Strongly Preferred Previous ACA/Marketplace enrollment experience Experience with HealthSherpa or another EDE enrollment platform Experience processing ACA renewals and plan changes Understanding of Marketplace eligibility and APTC Experience resolving Marketplace application issues Experience working in a health insurance agency Bilingual English/Spanish Medicare experience is a plus What We Provide Established book of clients Qualified inbound opportunities CRM and enrollment technology Administrative support Structured enrollment workflows Training on JR Healthcare Solutions procedures Opportunity for additional hours during Open Enrollment Opportunity to grow within an expanding health insurance agency Compensation $16

Skills Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing with a focus on insurance or benefits products. Strong negotiation skills to help clients select optimal coverage options while ensuring compliance with insurance regulation standards. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to clearly convey complex insurance concepts to clients from varied backgrounds. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems for client management and documentation. Analysis skills to evaluate client needs and recommend appropriate health, life, property casualty, or commercial insurance solutions. Customer relationship building expertise coupled with outstanding customer service capabilities to foster trust and loyalty. Knowledge of health insurance policies, benefits administration, life insurance fundamentals, property casualty insurance, and regulatory requirements.
