Admissions Specialist IV Texas A&M University - San Antonio - 3.8 San Antonio, TX Job Details Full-time 8 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Word processing Spreadsheets Productivity software Full Job Description Agency Texas A&M University - San Antonio Department Enrollment Management Proposed Minimum Salary Commensurate Job Location San Antonio, Texas Job Type Staff Job Description The Admissions Specialist IV, under general supervision, provides advanced customer service and operational support to prospective and current students, faculty, staff, and external constituents through multiple communication channels. The position serves as a subject matter expert on admissions, academic records (transfer articulations), and university policies and procedures. Responsibilities include resolving complex student issues, assisting students with the admissions and registration processes, conducting presentations and informational sessions, supporting and coordinating student workers, leading special projects, and serving as a team member to promote efficient, admission processing services.
Responsibilities:
Provides advanced customer service to students, faculty, and staff through various means of communication. Offers information regarding university services and information related to admissions, academics, registration procedures, advising services, residency, transcripts, and academic programs. Resolves advanced problems of students seeking admissions information and forms. Guides and helps students applying for admission and registering via the internet. Provides advanced assistance in managing student workers and schedules. Conducts presentations and informational sessions on admissions processing, requirements and programs. Completes special projects.
Required Education and Experience:
Associate's degree or higher in related field. Five (5) years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
