Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
The Insurance Specialist is responsible for resolving registration related payer denials which are housed in Epic account workqueues. On a daily basis, the insurance specialist will utilize payer guidelines to correct the account and appeal the denial.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School graduate or equivalent is required. A combined minimum of (2) years' experience in registration. Must have knowledge of Texas Medicaid, Medicare, Commercial insurance programs. Must possess strong interpersonal and communications skills.
