Job Description

Key Responsibilities Schedule clients for outpatient services and manage appointment calendars Create and maintain accurate client charts and documentation Conduct initial screenings for services via phone Provide referrals and additional outpatient resources as needed Prepare and maintain weekly billing sheets Coordinate closely with the LCSW and clinical team Audit client charts for completeness and compliance Maintain and update provider lists Verify Medicaid eligibility for clients on a monthly basis Send intake packets to new clients and track completion Follow up with clients to obtain required signatures and documentation Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations File Progress notes for Waiver clients in Binders Complete any other Waiver/DSP admin tasks as needed 15-20 Hours a week Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate's or Bachelor's preferred) Previous experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or medical administration preferred Knowledge of Medicaid and insurance verification is a plus Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent phone and written communication skills Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer programs Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
