In this role, you will serve as the first contact and vital link between our organization and diverse communities, fostering relationships, promoting programs, and ensuring that underserved populations have access to vital resources. Your energetic sales approach, combined with strong organizational and communication skills, will help amplify our mission to create positive impact. This role is responsible for converting high volumes of referrals into scheduled appointments through consistent outreach, structured follow-up, and measurable productivity standards. This is a high-volume, performance-driven position. Candidates must be comfortable working under daily call quotas and weekly scheduling targets. Responsibilities Identify the caller's needs and provide appropriate information or connect them with the correct staff member. Provide information about company programs and services, including eligibility requirements and referral processes. Complete 100 plus outreach calls a day. Handle difficult or upset callers professionally, using de-escalation and problem-solving skills. Verify Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance coverage. Accurately document call interactions through EHR and Microsoft platforms. Secure scheduled appointments and confirm each scheduled appointment. Respond to inbound calls and communications professionally and promptly. Ensure clients remain active and appropriately scheduled once enrolled. manage shared calendars and coordinate appointment placement accordingly. Build and maintain strong partnerships with local organizations, schools, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders. Communicate with internal staff to ensure clients receive timely and appropriate assistance. Data collection to measure impact. Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and company privacy requirements when handling client information. Experience Proven experience in outreach calls that require critical thinking. Experience in the referral processes including verifying insurance policies. Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to engage varied audiences confidently. Experience working with culturally diverse populations; bilingual skills are highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Effective client communication skills combined with writing proficiency for reports and promotional materials. Experience in fundraising or administrative tasks such as recruiting volunteers or tracking program data. Required Qualifications Minimum 2+ years experience in high-volume healthcare outreach, scheduling, or call center environment. Demonstrated ability to meet daily productivity targets. Strong verbal communication skills and professional phone presence. Highly organized and able to manage large referral pipelines. Proficiency in Outlook and Excel required.
