full-time Company Description SIM IP is a multi-strategy investment firm focused on intellectual property as an asset class. The pace is fast, the standards are high, and the communication is direct. This role sits at the center of it, supporting the President/Chief Financial Officer directly and running day-to-day operations as needed. Occasional support to the Chairman/CEO when he is in the United States. Role Description Provide direct executive support to the

CFO:

calendar, correspondence, travel, expense processing, and document management. Own recurring administrative operations, vendor accounts, and office logistics end to end, so resolved means resolved. Execute from the internal knowledge center: step-by-step guides, checklists, and templates. The systems exist. Your job is to run them consistently and keep them current as business needs evolve. Coordinate across finance, IT, HR and leadership using defined ownership and escalation paths: research first, confer with the team, and escalate with a proposed solution. Any other administrative and operational tasks as required by the CFO Qualifications 3+ years of prior experience supporting senior executives in an assistant, operations, or administrative capacity. Composure under direct, demanding, fast-moving leadership. Feedback here is candid and immediate. You take it, adjust, and keep moving.

A problem-solver with independent judgment:

you look it up before you ask, you ask the team before you escalate, and when you escalate, you arrive with an answer to propose. Follow-through that does not need reminders. Deadlines and details are the job.

Discretion with sensitive information:

compensation, personnel matters, and executive correspondence. Experience in medical, healthcare, or HIPAA-regulated environments is highly preferred. Location and Compensation Residing in Birmingham, Alabama is a firm requirement. This role works in person with the President/CFO on a regular basis. Compensation includes a competitive salary with bonus, and a generous benefits package with fully covered healthcare on the base plan.
