Job Description
Overview The Legal Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to in house General Counsel. The Legal Executive Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and organizational support to the General Counsel. The position requires a high degree of initiative, independent judgment, organization, discretion, and attention to detail, with the ability to anticipate administrative needs, manage competing priorities, and carry assignments through to completion with minimal direction. Responsibilities Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by creating a friendly environment and following Jackson Rancheria Guest Service Guidelines. Under the direction of the General Counsel the incumbent in this position will be responsible for the following duties: Receives and reviews contracts and legal documents to ensure completeness prior to forwarding for legal review. Requests revisions to contract language per legal recommendations. Prepares final contract documents for signature and routes final copies appropriately. Files and maintains record of final copies and the related attorney correspondence. Assists with and responds to records requests and subpoenas as advised. Handles all submissions of new service providers and tracks and renews approved service providers. Handles the maintenance/record keeping of service provider certificate of insurance documents required by approved contracts. Contributes to increasing efficiency and development of processes and procedures. Provides administrative support to the General Counsel - Intakes information and routes appropriately and obtains requested information. Takes and transcribes dictation, and composes and prepares confidential correspondence, memos, and other documents. Fills out all applicable forms as directed. May create and maintain database and spreadsheet files. Files and maintains documents. Prepares outgoing mail; distribute incoming mail. Conduct legal research and or analysis when needed. Prepare confidential and sensitive documents. Qualifications High School level education required and Associates or Bachelor's degree a plus. Previous administrative or office management experience demonstrating a high level of organization, independent judgment, initiative, and responsibility. Must have demonstrated experience independently managing administrative assignments and multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Experience in a legal, regulatory, governmental, or similarly professional environment is a plus but not required. Must pass all applicable background check requirements.
Pay range:
$62,300 to $81,000 per year.

Shift Differential:
Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am. This is not a smoke free workplace. Although we employ state-of-the-art air filtration systems, cigarette smoke is in the work environment
