Responsibilities include scheduling and preparing for client appointments, managing client files, and otherwise supporting attorneys and paralegals. GVM Law has assisted families and high net worth individuals with estate planning, tax, and business projects for over 50 years. Attorneys and staff at GVM promote and expect from themselves and each other: (1) professionalism and excellence in demeanor, legal skills, and work product; (2) focus on best possible client experience; (3) contribution to a respectful environment of accountability and teamwork; and (4) pursuit of entrepreneurial opportunities and involvement in the professional community. This is an in-office position. High School degree required; additional degrees or certification preferred The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience as a legal or administrative assistant Commitment to superior customer service Responsiveness both to external and internal requests and communications Professionalism, integrity, and judgment appropriate for a practice with high‑net‑worth clients and family‑owned businesses Familiarity with an office environment, systems, and procedures Proficiency in MS Office (MS Outlook and MS Word, in particular) Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Attention to detail and problem solving Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Responsibilities Respond to client phone calls and emails Manage, organize, and schedule appointments Manage client development communications and gifts, including research, coordination, and timely correspondence Plan meetings and take detailed minutes Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports Maintain an organized filing system Follow office policies and procedures Provide general support to visitors
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
