We are a privately owned, AAHA-accredited, 26,000 sq ft specialty and emergency hospital located at the base of the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Our state-of-the-art facility includes a 2,500 sq ft ICU featuring Snyder units and high-flow oxygen therapy, designed to support our most critical patients. We also offer a newly expanded, four-suite surgery center and an on-site blood bank to support advanced procedures and trauma care. Additional highlights include specialty procedure suites, a full imaging center with CT, and cutting-edge technology such as 4D echocardiography, fluoroscopy, laparoscopy, and laser therapy. Here, you'll work side-by-side with board-certified specialists and experienced ER doctors in an environment that values integrity, growth, and compassion. Your Role as an Executive Assistant As a vital member of our Administrative team, you'll play a hands-on role in the background operations of the hospital as well as the CEO's life. This position is ideal for a compassionate, highly skilled, and curious individual who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and wants to make a difference every single day. You'll use your expertise to: You'll use your expertise to manage and securely maintain the CEO's personal information as well as the hospital's records; assist with scheduling, workflow coordination, and reporting. Support marketing, recruiting, and community outreach initiatives. Help with daily operations, facility management, and client service projects. Act as backup for leadership when needed.
CEO Support Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive executive and personal support to the CEO by managing communications, calendars, travel, events, family logistics, and day-to-day priorities to ensure seamless scheduling and operations.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Support hospital operations through administrative coordination, facility and equipment management, staff and HR assistance, event planning, financial tracking support, and maintaining an organized, efficient work environment.
Marketing Responsibilities:
Drive marketing outreach and referral growth by building and maintaining relationships with veterinary partners, coordinating educational and community events, and promoting hospital services through strategic engagement efforts.
Requirements Required:
High School diploma or equivalent. Associate's of Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or related field preferred.
Preferred:
2+ years of experience in office administration; experience in a veterinary or medical setting is a plus. Skills & Qualifications Time management and ability to meet deadlines. Arrangement Attention to detail. Verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask. Able to self-manage (proactivity and self-direction). Proactive approach to problem-solving and quick decision-making. Strong interpersonal skills. Tech-savvy and experience with word processing and email programs such as Outlook. Active listening and good communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to "pivot" quickly to needs of the hospital & CEO. Schedule A full-time EVS employee averages at least 36 hours per work week. Hours may vary and depend on the department(s) and needs of the hospital. A typical schedule for this position consists of 4 x 10 hour shifts weekly with most shifts mainly focused on administrative tasks and team support if needed. Work Environment & Physical Demands This role is physically active and fast-paced. You'll need to: Lift up to 50 lbs frequently Kneel, stoop, crouch, and be on your feet for long periods Operate medical and office equipment Work around biological hazards and cleaning agents Communicate clearly in noisy environments
