Full Job Description Position Overview:
NIRA, Inc. is seeking a Senior Program Analyst/Executive Assistant to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in connection with a major, high-visibility agency initiative. The selected candidate will work directly with a federal executive, providing senior-level analytical, administrative, and executive support for critical FAA services and aviation systems programs. This role requires a seasoned professional who can operate in a fast-paced executive environment, manage competing priorities, and exercise sound judgment while handling sensitive information. The ideal candidate will be closely involved in the executive's day-to-day responsibilities related to planning, execution, and implementation of FAA initiatives and will play a key role in ensuring efficient operations and informed decision-making.
Responsibilities include:
Provide direct executive-level support to FAA leadership, managing workflow, tasking, and priorities to ensure deadlines are met Coordinate and staff products requiring executive review, approval, or signature Manage and maintain complex calendars and schedules, coordinate meetings, briefings, and executive engagements Track action items, taskings, and data calls; collect responses, analyze information, and provide synthesized inputs to the FAA executive Prepare, review, and edit briefing materials, reports, and presentation slides in support of executive meetings and initiatives Support the development and refinement of policies, processes, and procedures Review deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and applicability prior to executive submission Collaborate with internal and external team members to ensure timely and high-quality outputs Perform other job-related duties as assigned
EducationQualifications:
Master's degree with seven (7)+ years of experience in a technical (math, science, engineering), business, or management field OR Bachelor's degree with an additional four (4) years of relevant experience FAA-specific experience strongly desired Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and critical-thinking ability Ability to work effectively in both independent and team-oriented environments Must be able to pass a Public Trust background investigation
Key SkillsCompetencies:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook Experience using video conferencing and collaboration platforms Strong data analysis, program evaluation, and problem-solving skills Ability to leverage information technology to support business and programmatic needs Professional discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive or executive-level information
Other Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder and ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
