Assists in the allocion of resources among the program office; establishes performance measures and goals and manages the execution of program goals; ensures goals, stregy, and policies are clearly communiced to employees to achieve the desired results. Functions as a senior level liaison with external organizions and stakeholders to represent the view of the executive and interests of the IRS. Presents the executives' viewpoints to external groups and promotes closer relionships between the Agency and approprie outside organizions in areas of mutual benefit. Actively participes in conferences, meetings, or presentions involving problems or issues of considerable importance.
