Job Description
Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistan t to provide high-level, trusted support to a Senior Vice President. This role is a critical partner to the SVP and leadership team, helping drive focus, efficiency, and alignment across a complex and fast-moving business. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and comfortable operating at the executive level-balancing discretion, sound judgment, and a strong service mindset while supporting business priorities that move Yamaha forward.
What You'll Be Doing:
Executive Partnership Serve as the primary administrative partner to the Senior Vice President, proactively managing a highly complex calendar and anticipating needs. Coordinate domestic and international travel, including logistics, itineraries, and expense management. Act as a trusted gatekeeper, prioritizing requests and ensuring the SVP's time is focused on the most impactful work. Business & Operational Support Prepare, organize, and maintain executive-level correspondence Track action items and follow-ups to support accountability and execution across leadership teams. Communication & Relationship Management Serve as a key point of contact between the SVP and internal leaders and executives, and external partners and customers Draft and edit executive communications with clarity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Build strong working relationships across the organization to support collaboration and information flow. Judgment, Confidentiality & Continuous Improvement Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity. Exercise sound judgment and independence in managing administrative and operational matters. Identify opportunities to improve executive workflows, administrative processes, and overall efficiency. Special Projects, Additional Responsibilities Support executive initiatives and special projects that advance business priorities and Yamaha's long-term goals. Support the Marine team with other duties as requiredWhat You Need To Be Successful:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent 7+ years providing executive-level administrative support to senior leaders (VP, SVP, or C-Suite) Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint); comfortable learning new tools Exceptional customer service skills and customer service mindset Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive presence High level of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent customer service Ability to manage multiple priorities across multi-entity organizations Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and take initiative Don't meet every single requirement?
