In addition, the employee in this position will execute administrative policies determined by or in conjunction with other management employees. Prepares and types correspondence, forms, reports, charts and graphs. Ensures competency of work from the standpoint of grammar, composition and format. Sets up and maintains all files and records, as required. Places, accepts and screens telephone calls and refers calls to others as appropriate. Receives, opens and distributes incoming mail and documents. Performs duties as assigned, always presenting oneself as a credit to Harrah's and encouraging others to do the same. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. Manages the community development donations by guiding organizations through the request process, making decisions on property non-cash donations and supervising the requisition process of cash donations. Orders supplies for various departments including managing open requisitions and cost transfers. Processes invoices for various departments including tracking and updating budget reports, accruals and inventory reports. Books travel arrangements for staff including flight, hotel, rental car, and meal reservations. Reviews and answers correspondence and updates team member communication. Sets up meeting invites, attends meetings as requested and prepares and distributes minutes for meetings. High school graduate required. Able to type 60 wpm. Possess strong communication skills. Secretarial experience must include knowledge of business English and spelling. Able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Present a well-groomed appearance.
