What We Need:
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support our Chief Information & Digital Officer (CIDO) and senior leaders of HNI's Information & Digital Technologies organization (IDT). This role requires a polished professional who can anticipate needs, manage complex schedules, handle sensitive information with discretion, and serve as a liaison between the CIO and internal/external stakeholders. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, tech-focused environment and brings exceptional communication and project coordination skills.
What You Will Do:
Responsible for providing executive administrative support to the Chief Information & Digital Officer and Information & Digital Technologies Senior Leadership team including calendar management, travel and expense management, and project management. Prepare meeting agendas, briefings, presentations, reports, and correspondence as needed. Coordinate logistics for internal and external meetings, including virtual and in-person events. Track key initiatives and deliverables and follow up as needed to ensure deadlines are met. Provide resourceful, courteous, and proactive communication on behalf of the assigned executive team. Support MCR and HNI Corporate or IDT events and initiatives such as City of Hope, Art of the Possible, IDT Leader Offsite, and more. Work efficiently with janitorial services and Workplace Experience teams on building management and building needs. Act as a part of the HNI Corporate Safety Team and IDT Safety Team Lead. Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion. Foster a collaborative, well organized, and productive environment in the CIDO's office. Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.
What You Have:
High school diploma required. Associate's degree in related field preferred. 5+ years of experience supporting C-level executives, preferably in a technology or corporate environment. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
