A self-directed leader to oversee daily office operations and manage a team of property managers and accounting staff. Reporting directly to the company Owner, this role blends operational leadership, hands-on accounting support, and executive-level assistance. The ideal candidate is a natural organizer and problem-solver who can keep the office running smoothly, develop and support the team, and serve as the Owner's trusted right hand on special projects and company initiatives. Leadership & Team Oversight Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring the team is aligned, productive, and supported Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of property managers and accounting staff Set priorities, delegate assignments, and monitor workloads across the team Establish and improve office procedures, workflows, and internal controls Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews; assist with hiring, onboarding, and training Serve as the escalation point for tenant, vendor, and operational issues Accounting Support Assist with and provide oversight of accounting functions, including AR/AP, tenant billing, collections, and vendor payments Review financial reports, reconciliations, and month-end close activities prepared by accounting staff Support budget preparation, cash flow monitoring, and CAM reconciliations Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency in financial records across the portfolio Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and banking partners as needed Requirements 5+ years of experience in property management, real estate operations, office management, or a related field, including 2+ years supervising staff Strong working knowledge of accounting fundamentals, including AR/AP, reconciliations, and financial reporting Proven ability to lead, motivate, and hold a team accountable Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with strong follow-through High level of discretion, professionalism, and trustworthiness in handling confidential information Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with property management software (e.g., Rent Manager) preferred Join us to be part of a vibrant team where your energy drives operational excellence!
