Job Description

The Assistant to Sr Executive supports Senior Executive Officers with administrative functions in order to increase the time the leader has available for executive level responsibilities. Handles a wide variety of complex and confidential situations and resolves conflicts involving the clerical and administrative function of the office. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Prepares routine and advanced correspondence including letters, memoranda, and reports. The position relies on education, experience, professional training and judgment to accomplish responsibilities. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected, works under minimal supervision and may direct the work of others. This position is suited for highly experienced executive assistants supporting system-level senior leaders at the SVP, EVP, or C-suite level.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of clerical experience in an executive leadership level secretarial/administrative assistant position.
Education:
Associate's degree Technical Skills and Competencies
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills and business etiquette/professionalism.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite programs, including building and maintaining spreadsheets.
  • Effective time management, multitasking, and project coordination.
  • Social perceptiveness, critical thinking, executive correspondence proficiency, and judgment/decision-making.
  • Skills in monitoring/assessing performance.
Answer phones, purchase/order supplies, and process mail. Manage timekeeping, book travel arrangements, and organize schedules. Review and edit executive correspondence. Handle special projects as assigned. Support multiple leaders at the system level. Able to multi-task and prioritize assignments and requests in a fast-paced environment.
