Executive Assistant - Church of the
King Status:
Full Time The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the Executive Pastor, enabling greater focus on executive leadership responsibilities. This role requires excellence in organization, communication, confidentiality, and follow-through in a fast-paced ministry environment. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Pastor Manage complex calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings and events Prepare, edit, and format correspondence, communications, presentations, and reports Coordinate travel arrangements, guest speakers, and visitor logistics, including accommodations and hospitality Serve as a liaison between executive leadership, staff, vendors, church members, and external partners Receive, screen, and direct incoming communications, calls, and visitors with professionalism and discretion Take, compile, and distribute meeting notes and follow-up items as needed Conduct research, gather data, and prepare reports to support decision-making and planning Manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing deadlines and deliverables Monitor, organize, and respond to incoming communications in a timely manner Support executive and leadership teams with administrative tasks related to meetings, documents, and presentations Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency within administrative operations Qualifications & Skills Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of confidentiality, integrity, and discretion Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy Self-starter with strong initiative and follow-through Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office systems Ability to work collaboratively while supporting executive leadership needs Culture & Personal Expectations Commitment to uphold and reflect the culture and values of Church of the King Maintain a positive, service-oriented, and team-first attitude Actively pursue personal spiritual growth through prayer, Scripture, worship, and discipleship Demonstrate integrity, humility, and a heart of service in all interactions Foster a culture of excellence, honor, and unity within the organization Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred Minimum of 5 years of executive administrative or high-level support experience may be substituted in lieu of degree Physical Requirements Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs
