We're a hands-on, impact-driven team focused on creative, community-driven real estate (multifamily, commercial, development, property management, new ventures). We're deeply committed to Baltimore's neighborhoods. Position Overview Seeking a highly organized, proactive Executive Assistant to the Principal . This dynamic role provides comprehensive administrative and project support, ensuring smooth daily operations for our community-driven real estate initiatives. You'll provide critical support across: Real estate development & investment coordination Grant applications & strategic funding Property management & tenant relations Community engagement & civic meetings Communications & marketing General operations & administration This is a full-time position (40+ hours/week) and may require occasional evening and weekend availability to accommodate community and other events.
What You'll Be Doing Executive & Project Support:
Assist Principal with real estate acquisition/disposition (due diligence, market research). Manage development/construction projects (scheduling, documentation, design). Facilitate new business/retail launches.
Community & Stakeholder Coordination:
Coordinate Principal's civic calendar/meetings. Support community relationships (groups, nonprofits, agencies). Represent the company on community, non-profit, and governmental boards. Incorporate local feedback; assist placemaking initiatives.
Strategic & Funding Admin:
Aid in new project/venture research. Support grant writing/submission, track funding. Coordinate external partnerships/sponsorships. Prepare materials for growth planning.
Communications & Marketing:
Create/publish content (web, social, blogs, newsletters). Draft press releases, campaign materials. Organize photos/video. Support grassroots marketing/branding.
Property Operations:
Secondary tenant contact (customer service, leasing/intake). Schedule/document/perform inspections; report maintenance. Coordinate work orders. Maintain tenant/lease data, track rent rolls. General administrative support for properties. Prospect touring.
General Operations & Admin:
Manage licenses, permits, insurance, digital records. Improve internal systems/procedures (Wiki). Track tasks/schedules, documentation, file management. Provide daily operational/admin support to Principal.
What You Bring Strong asset:
Real estate, operations, community development experience.
Education:
Bachelor's required; relevant Master's a plus.
Skills:
Exceptional organization, meticulous attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong, professional, discreet communication (written/verbal). Proactive, resourceful, independent problem-solver. A natural relationship builder who connects easily with others and stays calm under pressure.
Tech & Media Proficiency:
Google Workspace, WordPress, MediaWiki, Canva, Adobe, etc.; comfort learning new software. Content creation and marketing on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube platforms.
Bonus:
Grant writing, grassroots marketing, civic engagement exposure.
Practical:
Valid driver's license/reliable vehicle. Willingness for occasional evenings/weekends. In-person in small, collaborative, accessible office. Compensation & Growth Potential Salary:
Commensurate with experience. Typically $55,000 - $70,000 annually , depending on qualifications. Performance-based bonuses (project success, grants, impact). Profit-sharing opportunities.
