Since 2022, we have served thousands of clients through minor home repairs, wheelchair ramps, volunteer support, and community outreach initiatives. As we continue scaling toward becoming a nationwide organization, we are seeking passionate leaders who are ready to grow with us and make a lasting impact. Position Summary The Assistant Executive Director of Information & Resources will serve as a key leader within the organization, overseeing the Information & Resources Department while helping guide strategic growth and community engagement efforts. This position will lead the department's daily operations, manage referral and resource systems, coordinate outreach initiatives, and work directly with community partners to strengthen relationships and expand services into new locations. This role requires a highly organized, mission-driven individual who is passionate about serving others, building partnerships, leading teams, and creating systems that support long-term organizational growth. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the Information & Resources Department Assist the Executive Director with daily operations and strategic growth initiatives Develop and maintain systems for client services, referrals, and resource management Update and maintain website information related to community resources, referrals, services, and partner organizations Research and gather new referral resources in areas where the organization is expanding Work directly with churches, nonprofits, agencies, businesses, schools, and community leaders to establish and maintain partnerships Conduct outreach efforts to build awareness and strengthen community relationships Plan, organize, and attend outreach events, networking opportunities, volunteer events, and community engagement activities Represent the organization professionally at meetings, community events, and partnership opportunities Build and maintain resource databases for both existing and new service regions Oversee volunteer information, scheduling systems, and communication processes Assist with expansion efforts into new cities and states by identifying local support services and organizations Maintain accurate records, reporting, and organizational databases Assist with grant tracking, reporting, and administrative documentation Support federal work study student coordination and mentorship opportunities Improve workflows and help create scalable systems for national growth Collaborate with leadership to identify gaps in community resources and develop solutions Qualifications Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to lead a department and manage multiple priorities effectively Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities Experience in nonprofit management, outreach, social services, administration, or operations preferred Comfortable conducting outreach calls, emails, presentations, and community networking Experience planning events or coordinating community engagement activities preferred Experience with website updates, CRM systems, spreadsheets, and digital communication tools preferred Passion for serving vulnerable populations and strengthening communities Ability to thrive in a mission-driven and faith-based environment What We Offer Meaningful work that directly impacts lives Opportunity to help shape a growing nonprofit organization Flexible and mission-driven work environment Leadership development and advancement opportunities A compassionate and purpose-driven team culture
