Full Job Description The Principal's Right Hand Location:
Springfield, Missouri (on-site, with periodic travel) Reports to: Founder & Chief Executive Officer Employment type: Full-time, salaried Read This First This is not a calendar job. This is the seat next to the founder of a firm being built to last generations — and the person in it is his right hand. You will run his days, guard his time, speak for him on the phone and in the room, and make sure nothing he touches falls through. When you do it well, the whole machine moves faster. We are a high-energy house. We build, we move fast, and we look out for one another. The standard here is high and it does not flex — high competence, high integrity, and total buy-in are the price of admission. In return you get a team that has your back, a mission worth giving your best to, and a front-row seat to something being built deliberately and for the long term. Who Thrives Here The person who wins in this seat is a go-getter to the core. You take ownership before you're asked. You see what needs doing and you do it. You are flexible on tasks and on hours because the work isn't the same two days running, and that's exactly how you like it. You bring energy into the room, not out of it. You are fiercely loyal and you understand that this seat runs on trust. What you see and hear stays with you. You represent the principal with poise whether you're greeting a partner, fielding a key call, or holding the line on his time. People remember how you made them feel, and they remember it well. What You'll OwnThe CEO's Day Calendar command. Own and orchestrate the CEO's calendar. Anticipate the conflicts before they happen and protect his priorities relentlessly. Readiness. Make sure he walks into every meeting fully briefed, with the right materials and the right context. Communications & The Front Line Phone & presence. Handle calls and inquiries with warmth and total professionalism. You are the voice people hear first, and you set the tone. Gatekeeping. Decide what reaches the CEO and when, and handle the rest yourself with sound judgment. Correspondence. Draft, screen, and manage communication on his behalf in a voice that sounds like the firm at its best. Travel & Logistics Travel. Plan and run complex travel — and travel alongside the principal periodically as the work requires. Itineraries are tight, changes are handled before he notices them. Expenses & records. Keep expenses, receipts, and records accurate and current. Documents & Personal Support Documents. Prepare, format, and proof documents and presentations to a standard you'd be proud to put your name on. Personal logistics. Manage personal scheduling and logistics for the principal with complete discretion. What You Bring A track record supporting a senior executive or principal at a high level. Elite organization and attention to detail — nothing slips, ever. Outstanding communication and exceptional phone presence. Real professional presence and composure with senior and high-net-worth relationships. High energy, initiative, and genuine flexibility on tasks and hours. Advanced proficiency with calendar, email, and document tools. Absolute discretion and unquestioned integrity. Willingness to travel periodically. What We Offer A high-trust seat beside the founder of a firm built for the long term, on a team that builds together and looks out for one another, in a state with no capital gains tax — with room to grow as far and as fast as you earn it.
