- Position requires knowledge of the University travel policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of the University Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Work will often require extensive contact with accreditation agencies, counterparts and colleagues at other Universities, as well as the campus community and local and/or regional community in order to explain programming options, processes, policies, and procedures.
- Substantial public contact in order to develop and maintain effective working relationships with and among students, parents, faculty, and staff, university, alumni and other external entities while providing excellent customer service.
- Use of sound judgement and discretion as work involves the performance of complex and confidential office duties.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, One Note, Publisher and PowerPoint) applications and an intuitive ability to utilize these tools for effective administration and problem solving.
- Constant flexibility; excellent planning, prioritization and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively and diplomatically with a wide range of individuals in a high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of Banner Finance, PeopleAdmin or equivalent systems.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
