About Hudson Link Hudson Link (hudsonlink.org) empowers currently and formerly incarcerated people to realize their academic and economic potential by managing degree-granting college programs and providing essential re-entry support. Established in 1998, Hudson Link has transformed over a thousand lives, helping incarcerated people make a positive impact on their own lives, their families, and communities, resulting in lower rates of recidivism, incarceration, and poverty. Working with nine college partners, Hudson Link provides funding, management, and organizational support for academic programs leading to college degrees at five correctional facilities, including Green Haven, Greene, Shawangunk, Sing Sing, and Taconic. Hudson Link also provides released students with ongoing alumni services, as well as transitional housing through our New Beginnings housing program. Role Summary The Executive Assistant ensures the smooth operation of Hudson Link's daily administration and supports its leadership to work at their best potential. Key responsibilities include complex calendar and inbox management, travel coordination, and meeting preparation. The Executive Assistant will work directly with the President, Executive Director, leadership team, and Board of Directors to make sure that organizational goals are accomplished and operations run efficiently. The Executive Assistant will report to the Director of Operations. The hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with a requirement of flexibility in working evenings as necessary. This role must be performed on site, in person. What You Will Do Manage calendars and scheduling for the President and Executive Director. Coordinate full board and subcommittee meetings, assist with preparing board meeting agenda, assembling board meeting supporting documents to circulate via email as well as printed copies for distribution at meetings. Coordinate and manage travel for members of the leadership team, including accommodations, transportation, and meals. Serve as a floating support to members of the leadership team, helping as assigned with tasks, projects, and events. Order and set up food for meetings and events, both on- and off-site. Prepare correspondence and follow up emails, as needed, on behalf and with the direction of the President and Executive Director. Support the Community Engagement Manager with execution of large events as assigned. Track and manage expenses for President and Executive Director. Monitor daily operations and flag challenges to the Director of Operations. Support the Development team with large-scale mailings, events, and projects. Represent Hudson Link at meetings or events as assigned. What You Can Expect Starting Salary of $55,000 - $60,000 commensurate with experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance. 15 days/year paid time off & 9 paid holidays/office closures.
