Job Summary:
Manufacturing company is seeking a professional, courteous, and organized Full-Time Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers. The ideal candidate will provide front-desk support, handle administrative tasks, and assist with maintaining smooth daily operations in our office. This position is essential to upholding a welcoming and efficient office environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome all visitors in a professional and friendly manner Answer, screen, and route incoming calls promptly and accurately Provide general information in person, by phone, or via email Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and packages Monitor access to the building and maintain visitor log in accordance with office security protocols Coordinate scheduling for appointments and conference/meeting rooms Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times Assist with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, photocopying, and document preparation Perform other related administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative role preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills Strong verbal and written communication abilities Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently Must be able to navigate between floors and climb steps as part of regular duties
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8AM - 4:30
PM Working Conditions:
This is a full time, in-person position in an office environment Regular physical activity includes walking between floors and carrying small items (e.g., mail, files) Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and operate standard office equipment
