Job Description

Duties:
The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction's office and performs a variety of confidential administrative and clerical duties.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing, proofreading, and formatting correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents using personal computer applications. Managing the Assistant Superintendent's calendar, appointments, meetings, and daily schedule. Serving as the primary contact for the office by answering and directing telephone calls, responding to inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service. Conducting complex file searches and maintaining accurate records and filing systems. Tracking multiple projects, assignments, and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks. Utilizing technology effectively, including a variety of software applications, database management systems, and electronic document retrieval systems. Collaborating with district staff, administrators, and external partners while maintaining the ability to work independently when necessary. Demonstrating strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion. Performing other duties as assigned. This position is located at the Verona District Offices Building and is a 12-month, non-negotiating support staff position. The successful candidate will support a fast-paced administrative office environment while serving as a key resource to Executive Leadership Team.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Secretarial Science, Business Administration, or a related field; OR High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two (2) years of clerical experience involving typing and administrative support. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and office technology required. Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines effectively. Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as needed.
