Candidates should be able to assist other staff members by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, making reservations or travel arrangements, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace. This individual should be prepared to work in a family owned and operated company with the opportunity to gain experience in various aspects of running a small business. Hours may vary however we anticipate an average of 20 hours per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
Learn and manage state filing requirements Field incoming phone calls Assist in the implementation of a filing system and file documents•physical and electronic Assist in the organization of documents and supplies Below are the skills and work style we are looking for: Works well independently Proficient computer use•you do not need to be a programmer but should be able to troubleshoot if your printer does not work or know how to zip files. Knowledge of Microsoft Office on a PC with experience on Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint Excellent written communication Organization and attention to detail Excellent phone and verbal skills Accounting skills not required but a PLUS!
Normal Office Hours:
Mon•Fri, 9 a.m.•4:30 p.m.
Anticipated Hours:
15-20 hours/week Other Points to

Starting at $16.50/Hour Bonus pay available based on individual and company performance + holiday bonuses Flexible scheduling No weekend work or crazy hours Option to increase hours as this position is to assist in transition of current owner's remaining workload of administrative responsibilities
