Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Executive Assistant to serve as a key member of the United Way Bradford County team, providing administrative, operational, and communications support to the Executive Director. This position helps ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the organization while supporting fundraising efforts, community engagement, volunteer coordination, and public communications. The Executive Assistant represents United Way professionally throughout the community and plays an important role in advancing our mission of improving lives across Bradford County. Responsibilities Provide direct administrative support to the Executive Director. Manage calendars, appointments, meetings, and scheduling. Prepare correspondence, reports, meeting agendas, minutes, and presentations. Maintain accurate records through data entry, spreadsheets, and filing systems to ensure easy retrieval of information Assist with donor acknowledgments, thank-you letters, and mailings. Support Board of Directors meetings by preparing packets, agendas, and minutes. Maintain confidentiality regarding donor, financial, and organizational information. Coordinate event logistics, registrations, volunteers, vendors, and promotional materials. Help recruit volunteers and community partners. Build positive relationships with local businesses, nonprofits, volunteers, and community members. Attend networking opportunities on behalf of United Way. And other duties as assigned. Requirements Two or more years of administrative or office management experience preferred. Experience in nonprofit organizations, marketing, communications, or event planning is a plus. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. High level of professionalism and confidentiality. Two years or more of hands-on marketing skills. Willingness to work an occasional weekend or evening. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. A valid driver's license with reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout Bradford County. Passion for community service and the mission of the United Way.
