David James Description Top E&S wholesale brokerage is seeking an Account Executive / Broker Assistant to support our brokers across the full insurance lifecycle, from submissions and marketing through binding, policy issuance, and ongoing servicing. This is a hands-on, process-driven role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced wholesale environment and takes ownership of their workflows with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Process binders, endorsements, policies, certificates, and other policy documentation with accuracy and efficiency. Assist brokers with quote preparation, submission follow-up, and carrier communications. Handle policy servicing responsibilities throughout the policy term, including renewals and cancellations. Coordinate with retail agents, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth transactions and excellent service. Maintain organized files and ensure compliance with underwriting and documentation requirements. Support brokers with administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
3-5 years of insurance experience (wholesale brokerage preferred; carrier or retail agency experience also considered). Strong understanding of E&S or commercial lines products and processes. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance management systems.
