Job Description

Job Title:
Executive and Personal Assistant Seeking a dependable, upbeat, and highly organized Executive and Personal Assistant to support the owner of a small managed IT services business. The owner is overwhelmed by day-to-day responsibilities and needs help managing a busy, unpredictable schedule. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping others stay organized, likes taking initiative, and takes pride in making a busy day run more smoothly. The right person will be a self-starter with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a genuine desire to help. This role includes both business and personal support, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable managing a variety of tasks with care, discretion, and professionalism.
Where:
The office is located in Frederick, MD There will be times where same-day travel will be required (visiting clients' sites, attending meetings/seminars/functions) There will be times when overnight travel may be required (expenses will be covered by the company) What You'll Do Help manage calendars, appointments, deadlines, and reminders Keep track of tasks and follow-ups so important items don't get missed Schedule meetings, calls, and personal appointments Assist with email management, document organization, and general administrative work Assist with keeping the owner on schedule Help coordinate occasional personal errands or scheduling needs Keep records and files organized and easy to access Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and service providers as needed Look for ways to create better systems and improve day-to-day organization What We're Looking For Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail A self-starter who is proactive and eager to help Friendly, reliable, and trustworthy with a pleasant personality Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working independently Able to handle both business and personal support tasks with professionalism Able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner while streamlining office operations The ability to multitask with stress management skills is essential Preferred Experience Experience supporting a business owner, executive, or small business (not a requirement) Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Calendar, Sheets, Slides, Keep, Meet) Experience with administrative, calendar, or task management support
Job Type:
Part Time initially with the possibility of transitioning into a Full-Time position
Location:
Frederick MD/Remote when needed- With some opportunities to travel for various events
Pay:
$18-22$/hr (depending on experience)
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
