Cambridge Position Overview:
Biogen is seeking a proactive and highly capable Executive Assistant to serve as a strategic partner to the Leadership Team (LT). This role goes beyond traditional administrative support, blending high-level executive assistance with light project management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will act as a central point of coordination for the department, driving operational efficiency, managing complex logistics, and maintaining a polished and professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Calendar Management:
Oversee and manage complex, high-volume Outlook calendars, proactively resolving conflicts and prioritizing critical engagements.
Travel & Logistics Coordination:
Plan and manage domestic and international travel arrangements, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and efficient scheduling for leadership.
Financial Operations:
Administer the full lifecycle of Purchase Orders (POs) and Scopes of Work (SOWs), including tracking, processing, and supporting timely budget reporting.
Digital Workspace Management:
Maintain and enhance Point and OneDrive platforms to ensure organized, accessible, and up-to-date team resources.
Event Planning:
Collaborate with Corporate Meetings and Congress teams to support large-scale events and leadership meetings.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of progressive administrative experience, ideally within a corporate or biotech environment.
Education:
Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Point, Excel, and OneDrive.
Core Competencies:
Highly organized, solution-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and interact effectively with senior leadership.
