Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #1 in the nation as the best large mortgage company to work for by National Mortgage News, is seeking an Executive Assistant to support our Director of Digital Research & Development in our Virginia Beach, Virginia office to join our team. The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing a require a high degree of confidence, enthusiasm and problem-solving capabilities while remaining flexible, versatile, and proactive. This is a hybrid position. What you'll be doing Owning and managing the Director of Digital Research & Development's calendar, keeping schedules organized and priorities clear. Serving as the first point of contact for incoming requests, triaging and routing with good judgment. Coordinating meetings, agendas, and follow-ups across a variety of recurring and ad hoc engagements. Drafting and sending professional communications on behalf of the Director. Tracking tasks and projects, surfacing blockers and keeping work moving forward. Preparing reports and dashboards to keep the Director informed and aligned. Supporting research, vendor evaluation, and administrative tasks as needed. Helping coordinate travel, events, and team-building activities. Contributing to a positive, high-functioning team culture. Performing other duties as assigned. What you'll bring 2+ years of experience in an administrative, coordination, or customer-facing role required Experience supporting a senior leader or director in a professional setting preferred Background in hospitality, guest services, or other high-standard customer-facing environments preferred Familiarity with tools like Notion, Slack, or project management platforms preferred Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication — professional, clear, and adaptable in tone A proactive mindset: you spot problems before they happen and solve them without being asked Comfort with digital tools and the ability to pick up new platforms quickly Discretion and good judgment when handling sensitive information A genuine team-player attitude and enthusiasm for supporting others' success Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook Interest in technology, mortgage, or financial services industries Perks Atlantic Bay offers a dynamic benefits package that includes a competitive base salary, eligibility for monthly bonuses, health insurance, 401(k), PTO, paid volunteer time and your birthday off with pay!
