Job Description
About us Krause Accounting Group is a growing accounting and fractional-CFO firm serving small businesses and nonprofits across Washington. We handle bookkeeping, tax, and advisory work, and we're building a team that delivers excellent work without burning out. This is a newly designed role at the center of how we operate. The role We're hiring an Executive Assistant to be the right hand to one of our owners and keep client work moving. You'll be the person who keeps the machine running: owning the inbox, coordinating with clients, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks so our senior team can focus on high-value work. This is not a temporary or stepping-stone job. It's a permanent, designed position with a real growth path, direct mentorship from the owners, and increasing responsibility over time. What you'll do Triage and manage a busy inbox: sort, prioritize, handle routine replies, and flag what needs an owner's attention Coordinate with clients: request and follow up on documents, schedule calls, answer straightforward questions, and keep things moving Keep tasks and deadlines on track in our practice-management and bookkeeping software (for example, Canopy and QuickBooks Online, experience not required) Prep for client meetings and help the owners stay on top of follow-ups During tax season, help with document handling: scanning and organizing client documents at our office, and occasionally dropping off or picking up documents Bring order to the day-to-day so the whole team can do its best work Location and schedule (please read carefully) This is a hybrid role built around our Puyallup / South Hill, WA office.
