The Executive Assistant to the CEO is the operational backbone behind V-1's President and leadership team. You'll own the details, take work off their plates, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks, working with significant autonomy and direct exposure to how the business runs. This is a role for someone who anticipates needs before they're voiced, executes reliably, and takes quiet ownership of the follow-through. Over time, it's a runway toward Chief of Staff as you and the business grow.You will own the following:
Coordination & Follow-Through :
Keep the President's and leadership team's priorities on track, run the leadership meeting cadence, and catch issues before they become problems.Executive Support & Scheduling :
Manage the President's calendar, travel, and communications; prepare them for every meeting; serve as the point of contact for scheduling across internal teams, clients, and vendors.HR Operations :
Own day-to-day HR administration, including onboarding, employee records, PTO, and offer letters, and keep documentation compliant and audit-ready.NEED TO HAVE
Experience:
Five or more years supporting senior executives, ideally a CEO or founder, with a track record of ownership and sound judgment.Ownership:
Proven ability to juggle complex, competing priorities and own tasks end to end with minimal direction.Discretion:
Mature judgment handling confidential business, financial, and personnel matters.Communication:
Strong writing and materials-building skills for executive- and client-ready communications.Technical foundation:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).NICE TO HAVE
Background:
Experience in an executive assistant, business partner, or operations support role.HR exposure:
Onboarding, HRIS, and compliance experience, ideally with systems such as TriNet and BigTime.Industry exposure:
Aviation, construction, engineering, or professional services.THE DETAILS
