Summary:
The Executive Assistant II provides secretarial and administrative assistance to a President, Vice President/CEO and Executive Staff. The Assistant must be flexible, organized, attention to detail, initiative, resourcefulness, and willingness to work as part of a team are required. The role of each Executive Assistant will be determined by the mission of the department(s) he/she reports to, and various job duties will be assigned accordingly and may involve access to patient protected health information in the course of supporting patient care. This individual may be called upon to cover for another Executive Assistant or member of the administrative support team in his/her absence. Ability to maintain confidentiality is of utmost importance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree is desired. Two to four years administrative or secretarial experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Excellent customer service and organizational skills are necessary, as well as problem solving, communication, and decision-making skills. Flexibility, attention to detail, initiative, resourcefulness, and willingness to work as part of a team are also required. This team member must be able to juggle multiple projects, tasks, and responsibilities. Must also be able to handle high levels of stress and frequent interruptions. The individual should possess extensive experience in the use of a computer with knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet Explorer.
