Full-time Overview:
At CIS Secure, we protect the nation's most critical missions by delivering secure, high-performance communications and networking solutions to defense and intelligence customers worldwide. We are seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to support or Chief Executive Officer. The Executive Administrative Assistant provides high‑impact, high‑velocity support to the CEO of CIS Secure. This role ensures the CEO's time, priorities, and communications are managed with precision, confidentiality, and urgency. The ideal candidate thrives in a mission‑driven, fast‑paced environment, anticipates needs before they arise, and enables the CEO to operate at maximum effectiveness across internal leadership, customers, partners, and the Board.Responsibilities:
Executive Support & Prioritization Manage and optimize the CEO's calendar, schedule, and daily workflow with strong judgment and proactive prioritization Coordinate internal and external meetings, briefings, and reviews, ensuring the CEO is fully prepared with agendas, materials, and talking points Serve as a gatekeeper and force multiplier—filtering requests, triaging issues, and ensuring the CEO's time is spent on the highest‑value activities Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Communication & Coordination Draft, edit, and manage executive‑level communications, including emails, announcements, presentations, and Board materials Coordinate cross‑functional communication between the CEO and leadership team, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely follow‑through Support preparation for customer, partner, and government engagements, including logistics, briefing materials, and follow‑up actions Operational & Administrative Excellence Manage travel planning, itineraries, expense reporting, and logistics for domestic and international trips Track action items, deadlines, and commitments across the executive team; ensure timely execution and accountability Support special projects, strategic initiatives, and operational reviews as assigned by the CEO Maintain organized systems for documents, records, and executive workflows Leadership Team Support Coordinate executive staff meetings, offsites, and leadership events Assist with preparation of strategic plans, quarterly business reviews, and performance updates Partner with HR and Operations on executive onboarding, culture initiatives, and internal communicationsOPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS
This position anticipates mostly standard hours, with some variability based on requirements. This position is expected to perform work on-site at the Ashburn headquarters.TRAVEL:

This position does not require an active security clearance at the time of application. Must be a U.S. Person and have the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline preferred.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experience supporting C‑suite or senior executives Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to draft polished executive‑level content High degree of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) Ability to work on‑site and support an executive with a demanding scheduleDESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience in defense, intelligence, federal contracting, or secure communications industries Familiarity with government customers, classified environments, or security clearance processes Experience supporting a CEO in a high‑growth or private‑equity‑backed environmentSUCCESS PROFILE
