Executive Assistant, Clinical Directors 760 Lynnhaven Parkway, Virginia Beach, VA 23452 Full-time Full-time Job Summary The Community Oncology Alliance (COA), a national cancer advocacy organization, is seeking an Executive Assistant to support clinical initiatives. This role provides administrative, operational, and project support for several key COA initiatives including the Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) and the Community Oncology Pharmacy Association (COPA). For an oncology nurse, pharmacy technician, or health care professional ready to move into a mission-driven administrative and project support role, this is an opportunity to stay connected to patient-centered oncology care while expanding into national clinical operations. The individual will serve as a coordinator for communication, activities, and meetings between clinical stakeholders involving community oncology practices and patients. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative and project support for new and ongoing programs within the CIN and COPA. Communicate professionally and knowledgeably with health care professionals including pharmacists, physicians, administrators, nurses, pharmacy technicians, and others in community oncology practices via email, phone, virtual platforms, and in person. Communicate with vendors, employer groups, and health plans supporting the CIN. Coordinate and facilitate committee, network, and clinical meetings, including scheduling, attendance tracking, calendar management, distribution of agendas, minutes, and action items. Draft, edit, and distribute professional correspondence, policies, presentations, and reports. Maintain accurate and up-to-date contact databases. Support educational initiatives and sponsored projects through scheduling, communication, and documentation. Manage relationships with external consultants and partners supporting clinical efforts, including vendors, clinicians, and practice leaders. Assist with planning and execution of key events, including the COA Conference and Payer Exchange and Innovation Summit. Provide cross-functional administrative support across the broader COA and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Proficiency with common workplace tools including Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Teams). Experience in health care with preference for oncology, pharmacy, nursing and/or clinical practice operations. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to keep meetings, projects, and follow-up items moving. Location, Hours, & Travel Monday through Friday, standard business hours. Virginia Beach, VA (in-office). Approximately 20% travel, including COA meetings and conferences.
